This section collects early design exploration for Living Universe Online.

Ideas in this section are not final feature definitions. They are working concepts, open questions, competing options, and rough directions that still need discussion.


Purpose

The purpose of this section is to capture design thinking before it is treated as committed game behavior.

It is a place to:

  • record promising concepts
  • compare alternatives
  • preserve open questions
  • refine mechanics with team feedback

What Belongs Here

This section is appropriate for:

  • new mechanic ideas
  • unresolved system designs
  • alternative rule models
  • rough expansions of existing concepts

If a page still contains major uncertainty, multiple competing options, or unresolved scope, it belongs here rather than in the Game wiki.


What Does Not Belong Here

This section is not for implemented or current feature behavior.

Pages that describe current gameplay behavior belong in the Game wiki (Docs/Game/docs/wiki/). When a scoped slice of an idea is ready to build, it is moved into the Game wiki and shipped together with the code.
